Aspiration, Enjoyment & Achievement: the Children’s University Impact

Back in June, we worked in partnership with our neighbouring Children's University colleagues to host a fantastic event at Magna Science and Adventure Centre for headteachers, school staff and learning providers to come along and find out more about Children's University both locally and nationally.

There were inspiring speeches from Chief Executive of the CU Trust Ger Graus, children's author Hilary Robinson, and Cile Sibanda from Rotherham CU, who provided an insight into what CU means to children and young people. There was also an engaging and explosive science workshop provided by Magna, and an opportunity for attendees to find out more about their local Children's University and how they can get involved.

It was a fantastic event, and really helped raise the profile of all our work and the impact it can have on children and young people across our region.
