This week exactly one year ago, we were very busy celebrating reaching 1 million hours of activity recorded, rewarded and celebrated by Sheffield Children's University!
And our million hours celebration has got us thinking... It took around 7 years for Sheffield children and young people to clock up 1 million hours since Sheffield CU began in the city.
However we counted up again yesterday and since our celebration last year, children and young people in Sheffield have clocked up an amazing 388,995 hours! In just one year!
There are now 29,075 children who have CU credits in our city, 68 schools subscribed, 128 Learning Destinations and over 12,000 children and young people with a Passport to Learning! Wow!
And its not just down to us, we could not do it with amazing school staff, supportive parent/carers and dedicated children and young people, and YOU! So thank you!
