We had another fantastic opportunity to do what we do best last week, celebrate! We hosted the second of our autumn Gold Award ceremonies and welcomed 200 children, parents and carers and school staff to the Town Hall to celebrate their achievements.

Again this ceremony provided the opportunity for children to wear their Sheffield CU caps and gowns throughout the ceremony to receive their awards for the first time. This was made possible by the support of the Sheffield Hallam University Outreach team who very kindly sponsored the gowns to allow us to purchase enough for all our award winners. It was fantastic to see so many children looking so smart and proud, and its provided some brilliant photos!

Children from 13 schools attended along with their parents and carers and were presented with their awards by the Deputy Lord Mayor, Councillor Denise Fox, Sam Martin, Assistant Director of Lifelong Learning, Skills and Communities and Jenny Lawton-Hunt from Sheffield Hallam University.
