#SCUChallenge 91 - Guide Dogs!

We all know about the amazing work that guide dogs are able to do. Have you ever wondered how our dog’s senses compare to our own? Dogs share the same basic senses with us: they see, hear, touch, smell and taste. But the levels of their senses are very different - their eyesight in particular is VERY good. They have a much wider range of vision than humans! This challenge will look at how a Guide Dog uses its own senses to help people with vision problems.

#SCUChallenge 90 - Gravity!

Gravity is the force than pushes things downwards. It's the force that keeps us on earth and stops us from floating away into space. There's no gravity in space and that's why astronauts are always floating around. This challenge helps you to learn about gravity and how you can test it with balls and water.

This type of photo is called 'forced perspective' and it's your eyes tricking your brain into believing the image is real. #SCUChallenge 87 - Make a Mini Raft!

Imagine being stranded on a desert island - stare across the deep, blue ocean, and if you look really carefully, bobbing around on the horizon, you can see the mainland. Phew! Now you just need to get there, but it's way too far to swim. You search the beach for ideas. There's lots of pieces of drift wood washed up on the sand, and some old string too. Hmmm, could you make a raft to sail across? Here's a challenge to make a mini version, but will it sink or float?
